JOSIE WEIR – TEACHER

Josie started dancing ballet at age 3. She has studied ballet ever since and began learning lyrical and contemporary styles at the age of 10. Josie has undertaken 9 ballet exams in both RAD and ADV attaining a high distinction for all.

In 2021 and 2022 Josie completed VCE VET Dance at Sandringham Secondary College attaining her Certificate II. Following completion of year 12 Josie was selected as one of Victoria’s top scoring students and invited to audition for Top Class as part of the VCE Season of Excellence 2023.

Josie has performed in troupe and solos in ballet, lyrical, contemporary and jazz for Steppes, achieving first place at multiple competitions and consistently in the top 4 for her solo performances.
